NAIDOC Week

July 6 - 13, NAIDOC Week celebrations will be taking place all around Australia. During this time we celebrate the survival of Indigenous culture, and the Indigenous contribution to modern Australia.

Your local CSU Library has a large range of Aboriginal resources, and some fantastic Indigenous videos and DVDs which really highlight the unique & amazing culture of the Aboriginal people.

  • Dust Echoes - Children's animated program, based on Dreamtime stories. Check Availability
  • Ten Canoes - A movie, in traditional language, based on the people of the Arafura Swamp. Check Availability
  • Aboriginal Dreamtime - Classic re-tellings of Dreamtime stories, including 'The Rainbow Serpent' and 'Tiddalick the Frog'. Check Availability
  • Dreaming In Motion - A documentary celebrating the acheivements of Indigenous filmmakers. Check Availability
  • The Aboriginal Art of Ochre Painting - A 'How-To' guide to traditional ochre painting, presented by Aboriginal artist Rick Roser. Check Availability
