What price education?

In its annual report, Education at a Glance, the OECD claims Australia's public spending on higher education was among the lowest of the 34 developed countries covered by the OECD report.
Did you know that more than half the annual investment in Australian universities came from private sources and that Australia also has the highest proportion of international students, with 17.3 per cent of the campus population coming from abroad?
You can read the transcript and listen to Radio National's podcast on the topic. The RearVision program, A world class education, aired 4 November, 2007. Click here.
