International Children's Digital Library

The International Children's Digital Library (ICDL) has available in digital form some of world's best children's literature and age-appropriate material in as many languages as possible organized under special categories for easy reference. Children aged 3 to 13 participate in the creation of the library, especially in the design of the Web site.

The mission of the ICDL Foundation is to excite and inspire the world's children to become members of the global community – children who understand the value of tolerance and respect for diverse cultures, languages and ideas -- by making the best in children's literature available online.

The library includes options to search by country, picturebooks, recently added, award winning and more. Featured books this month include:

All Love and Four Brothers
The Ancient Egyptians
Judge Rabbit and the Spirit Tree
