Library Services for CSU students and staff with disabilities

CSU Library provides a range of services for CSU students and staff with disabilities. This includes assistive and adaptive technology and equipment such as:

Software
• JAWS 6.0 – screen reading software.
• Kurzweil 3000 version 8- scanning/reading software.
• Dragon Naturally Speaking 8 - voice recognition program• TextAloud 2.0- voice synthesis to convert text into spoken audio.
• OmniPage 14- Pro Optical Character Recognition Software, which can be used in conjunction with a scanner.

Equipment
Adjustable height desks, ergonomic chairs and internal phones. Each library also has a close circuit television to further assist those with vision impairment.Contact your Library Disability Officer or Campus Disability Support Staff for more information and booking details.
